WEDDING CAKE RENTAL
Wedding cakes have played an important part in wedding celebrations since Roman times when wedding guests would crumble a thin wheat cake, representing bounty, over the bride's head to ensure her fertility. Wedding cakes have changed over the years, as well as the methods of making them or displaying them. Cake displays now come in numerous styles and materials to fit the traditional and non-traditional wedding cake.

More and more brides these days are seeking cost-effective ways to have the wedding of their dreams. A beautiful wedding cake is always a part of the dream wedding and it is always the center of attention at the reception. You want to make sure that your wedding cake receives the accolades it deserves.

When you rent an artificial wedding cake, you will receive a cake that looks identical to a traditional fondant cake at a fraction of the cost.

Wedding cake rental is ideal for:

  • Brides with less than 50 or more than 200 guests at the reception
  • Brides who already have desserts included in the menu
  • Brides who have an outdoor reception
  • Brides who want a tall and elegant cake for less
  • Brides who's reception is in a venue with a very tall ceiling
  • Brides with a tight budget

Fake wedding cakes are made from Styrofoam covered with fondant type of icing which hardens when dries. All cake decorations are made with royal icing, ribbons, rhinestones, sugar flowers, edible pearls etc. and can not be replaced.


How Does It Work?

First you need to choose one of our pre-designed cakes and reserve it with a deposit, that way we are able to make sure that no one else will rent the same cake design on the same day. If you are interested in having regular sheet cakes served at your reception, we suggest to schedule a complimentary wedding cake tasting which is available every Monday, Wednesday and every other Sunday by appointment. We require a signed wedding cake rental agreement, $100 deposit to hold the date, $300 cake rental damage deposit which is fully refundable if the rented cake is returned back to us on time and undamaged. Wedding cake rentals are due back to us no later than 2 days after your event. If you require a silver plateau for your cake, we provide those for free.  We only require a $150 deposit for the silver plateau which is also refundable if returned back to us no later that 3 days after your event. All refundable deposits are provided on separate checks which we don't cash unless you are in breach of your contract. You can have your cakes delivered or you can pick them up, as they will be safely packed for transportation.


What You Should Know...

Please remember that our rented cakes are made from fondant which is a sugary substance so the cake can not come in contact with any type of moisture; it will totally damage the cake and you will forfeit your deposit. (no fresh flowers for decor, rain etc). They are also very fragile so if the cake is dropped the sugar fondant will shatter in pieces and can not be repaired. If your cake design has sugar flowers, those can be replaced for a small fee if they are damaged. All cake decorations such as ribbons, rhinestones etc. are permanent and they are not replaceable. You will be renting the cake design as is. All rental details are specified in your wedding cake rental agreement.
